Not working for me. Wait… maybe some types of books might actually work as audiobooks? But not all. So, what types could those be?
Personally, I prefer non-fiction. Not the self-help kind, but books grounded in research—ones that use experiments and real-life examples to establish concepts. And these? They just don’t work for me as audiobooks. Maybe it’s because my mind wanders when I listen. I’m too distracted, missing out on the details.
With both visual and audio together, my focus feels 100% stronger than with just audio alone.
Isn’t listening to an audiobook just slightly better—say, 10%—than casually hearing an FM radio station?
Maybe I need more time to figure it out. More experience, more trial and error. I’ll get there and see if they can really add value to my reading habit.
